Naqash, Untoo express solidarity with Ghazi’s family

Srinagar, September 15, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash and noted human rights activist, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, visited Baramulla and condoled the death of Hurriyet leader, Abdul Rasheed Ghazi, with his family. Muhammad Yousuf Naqash Muhammad Ahsan Untoo on the occasion paid glowing tributes to Abdul Rasheed Ghazi and said that his life was an inspiration for the Kashmiris and he sacrificed it for a noble cause.

They said that the Indian government and its local puppet administration were not only perpetrating heinous crimes against humanity in Kashmir by also killing, oppressing, torturing and detaining people in the territory. Restrictions and curfew imposed by them are further making the life of people miserable, they added.

Naqash and Untoo also condemned dance programmes in Government Medical College, Srinagar, and sending of about 50 medical students including females to Delhi for dancing and singing programme. They said that, on one side, Kashmiri people regardless of age and gender were daily killed and, on the other, some so-called intellectuals for serving their personal interests were allowing such abusive programmes.

They strongly denounced the illegal arrest of Zahoor Ahmad Butt, the brother of prominent martyred liberation leader, Muhammad Maqbool Butt, demanding his immediate release.
