National Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker condemn the killing of tourists in Gilgit-Baltistan

Islamabad, June 23, 2013 (PPI-OT): Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker and Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly have strongly condemned the killing of Foreign and Local tourists by unknown assailants near base-camp of Nanga Parbat in Gilgit-Baltistan, last night.

In their separate statements, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives. They termed it a barbaric and shameful act of terrorism. They said that the elements involved in such activities were the enemies of the country and wanted to destabilize the peace process of the country and undermined the soft image of Pakistan, internationally.

They expressed their sympathies with the families of victims. They asked the law enforcing agencies to arrest the master minds of this gruesome incident and bring them to justice.
