National Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker congratulate Senator Ishaq Dar on his election as Chairman Special Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms

Islamabad, August 06, 2014 (PPI-OT): Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker and Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly have congratulated Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Finance and Revenue on his unopposed election as Chairman, Special Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms.

In their separate congratulatory message to Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker extended their warm felicitations on his election as Chairman, Special Committee on Electoral Reforms. They said that his unopposed election as Chairman was an evidence of trust and confidence of leadership of all the political parties sitting in the Parliament and members of the Committee reposed in his capabilities.

They expressed the hope that under his sagacious and energetic chairmanship the committee will work more effectively and accomplish the task assigned to it within stipulated period. They assured all out support and cooperation of National Assembly Secretariat for smooth functioning of the Committee. The Speaker and Deputy Speaker prayed for his success.
