National Assembly Speaker, Deputy Speaker congratulate Nawaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister

Islamabad, June 05, 2013 (PPI-OT): Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker and Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly have congratulated Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, today.

Congratulating the Prime Minister-elect, the Speaker said that election of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was an evidence of trust and confidence of the representatives of the people in his leadership and abilities.

He said that his election as Prime Minister will prove a milestone in the history of Pakistan and will lead to strengthening of the democratic institutions and democratic process in the country. The Speaker expressed the optimism that under the dynamic and sagacious leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the country would successfully be steered out of the prevalent challenges.

The Deputy Speaker, National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi also congratulated Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
