Karachi: NIT announced book closure for the Funds under its management which also includes NI(U)T Fund, NIT Government Bond Fund and NIT Income Fund from 1st July, 2011 to 7th July, 2011 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of dividend / bonus entitlement (if any). During the period of book closure, sale and repurchase of NIT Units will remain suspended. We attach herewith copies of NIT advertisement(s) published in Daily Dawn and Daily Business Recorder, Daily Nawa-e-Waqt and Daily Express dated June 16, 2011 to this effect.
NIT Announces Books Closure
The registers of following funds under the management of National Investment Trust Limited will remain closed from 1st July, 2011 to 7th July, 2011 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of dividend / bonus entitlement (if any):
(1) NI(U)T Fund
(2) NIT Government Bond Fund
(3) NIT Income Fund
(4) NIT State Enterprises Fund
(5) NIT Equity Market Opportunity Fund
(6) NI(U)T LOC Holders’ Fund
During the period of books closure, sale and repurchase of NIT Units will remain suspended against the above mentioned funds.

Notice for NIT’s Bearer Unit Holders
NIT allowed conversion of Bearer Units into Registered Units vide its notice published on February 28, 2005 in all the leading newspapers.
The conversion exercise shall remain suspended from 1st July, 2011 to 14th September, 2011 (both days inclusive) and will resume w.e.f. 15th September, 2011.
