Natural resources to be utilized for uplift of living standard of people: CM GB

The first meeting of new cabinet of Gilgit Baltistan was held in Gilgit on Saturday with Chief Minister Muhammad Khalid Khurshid in the chair.

The cabinet discussed matters pertaining to the development of the region.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the natural resources including minerals, tourism and water reservoirs will be utilized for the uplift of life standard of local people.

He asked the cabinet members to address problems confronting by the people of their respective constituencies on priority basis.

The Cabinet also constituted a special committee to look into the matters of Himalaya and Nanga Parbat National Parks.
