Nestle to acquire Pfizer’s nutrition business – Alfalah Securities Limited

Karachi, October 30, 2012 (PPI-OT): Nestle Pakistan Ltd. has announced to acquire nutrition business of Pfizer in Pakistan, which is currently being managed by Wyeth Pakistan Ltd., as per KSE notice.

According to Alfalah Securities Limited, however the execution of the deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Nestle is a blue chip company with a wide range of FMCG products mainly in the food business. Therefore, the said acquisition would add synergies to Nestle’s business and is likely to benefit the company through improved revenues and profitability.
