New fare rates on Inter/Intra City/District Routes in light of CNG price of Rs. 75/- per Kilogram to pass on the relief to the travelling passengers – Provincial Transport Authority

Peshawar: The Provincial Transport Authority (PTA) has notified new fare rates on Inter/Intra City/District Routes in light of CNG price of Rs. 75/- per Kilogram to pass on the relief to the travelling passengers. The PTA has asked all the Secretaries Regional Transport Authorities (RTAs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to display these new rates at visible places in General Bus Stands at their jurisdiction and inside passenger vehicles for information of transporters and passengers respe4ctively. It has also asked that violating transporters and drivers be booked to ensure strict compliance accordingly.

The new fare rates of CNG flying coaches and mini-buses would be 85 paisa per KM per passenger. The per passenger fare from; Peshawar to Mardan would be Rs. 49/- Peshawar-Mingora Rs. 146/-, Peshawar – Swabi Rs. 101/-, Peshawar – Charsadda Rs. Rs. 23/- , Peshawar – Bannu Rs. 163/-, Peshawar – DIKhan Rs. 286/-, Peshawar – Kohat Rs. 55/-, Peshawar – Hangu Rs. 88/-, Peshawar – Dir Rs. 213/-, Peshawar – Haripur Rs. 133/-, Peshawar- Abbottabad Rs. 164/-, Peshawar – Mansehra Rs. 184/- and Peshawar to Topi Rs. 115/-.

Similarly, the existing concession of 50% in the actual fare allowed to the students of Deeni Madaris, education institutions/disabled persons and the passengers above the age of 60 years shall continue as usual.
