Uzbekistan lauds Pakistan’s sacrifices in war on terror

Islamabad, February 12, 2018 (PPI-OT): Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov at the head of a delegation called on Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad. They reviewed the present status of bilateral relations and discussed various measures to further strengthen the close brotherly relations between both countries.

The Uzbek Foreign Minister conveyed an invitation letter from the Uzbek President Mirziyoyev Shavkat Miromonovich, addressed to President Mamnoon Hussain regarding the conference titled “Peace Process and Cooperation in the field of Security and Regional Cohesion” scheduled to be held in Tashkent from 26th of next month.

Uzbek Foreign Minister also called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat in Rawalpindi and appreciated the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and sacrifices rendered in war against terrorism.
