Karachi, June 18, 2018 (PPI-OT): Care taker Minister for Information, Information Technology and Law Mr. Jameel Yusuf has assured that details of cases of children prisoner in Jail will be collect to resolve their grievances on priority basis. This he said while distribution ceremony of Eid Gifts and Sweets among them by Justice Help Line an NGO during its Silver Jubilee celebrations held at Central Prison Karachi here today.
He asked the concerned that to provide technical skills and basic education to prisoner children so that they would be able citizens of the society in a proper manner .Care taker Information Minister Jameel Yusuf has directed the Prison Administration to devise a proper mechanism to impart technical skill education to them including employable trades i.e. Electrician, IT, Car Painter etc. with basic education to make them useful citizen of society in collaboration of Governmental and non-governmental organizations besides providing them full legal aid and assistance to review / scrutinize their individual case on priority basis.
Home department was also to take steps and make a strategy in this regard, he added. Care taker Information Minister Jameel Yusuf said that there is need of tree plantation of trees in the Prison to create good environment and also said due to this we will be able to face the weather changes. Information Minister Jameel Yousuf stressed upon extra physical and healthy activities in the Prison to became the children the useful citizens.
He also directed the concerned authority to resolve their matters on priority basis. Later the Minister accompanied with the Prisoner children in the cake cutting ceremony and also distributed gifts among children. On the occasion President Justice Helpline Nadeem Shaikh Advocate has highlighted the major activities for needy and poor Secretary Law Sindh Mr. Shariq Ahmed, DIG Prisons Kazi Nazeer Ahmed, Superintendent Gul. Muhammad Shaik, Deputy Chief Shaukat Suleman, Kazi Khalid Ali Advocate and CEO Brooks Pharma Co. Nadeem Khan were also attended the ceremony.
