Srinagar, December 31, 2020 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed while protest demonstrations will be held after Friday prayers, tomorrow, to express resentment against the killing of innocent youth by Indian troops.

Call for the strike has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and supported by other Hurriyat leaders and organizations including Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar appealed to the people to observe complete strike on Friday and hold protest demonstrations after Friday prayers against the killings. He emphasised that every Kashmiri was determined to achieve freedom and would never reconcile with the Indian illegal occupation.

The APHC spokesman maintained that the Kashmiris can’t forget that their youth are being massacred randomly, in custody, fake encounters and in extrajudicial manner. They will, he added, continue their struggle till they achieve the inalienable right to self-determination.

Pertinently, Indian troops killed three Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter in Hokersar, Lawaypora area of Srinagar, today. Earlier, in July this year three youth of Rajouri district were killed in another fake encounter at Amshipora in Shopian.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Freedom Party and Jammu and Kashmir People League, while extending their full support to the strike call in their statements urged the masses to observe shutdown to expose Indian brutalities in IIOJK. They that the struggle of Kashmiris is based on truth and demanded that India should withdraw its forces from Kashmir and resolve the dispute as per the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
