Islamabad, January 02, 2021 (PPI-OT):Synoptic Situation
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the Country. A strong westerly wave is likely to enter in Pakistan on Sunday and likely to grip upper parts of the country on Monday.
Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab during day time. However, partly cloudy weather with light rain is expected in northeast Punjab during evening/night hours.
Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain/snow is expected in northeast Punjab, Pothohar region, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas while fog is likely to prevail in central and south Punjab at isolated places. Rain/snow is also expected in Murree and Galyat during the period.

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in north Balochistan, northern areas, Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
