Karachi, June 20, 2013 (PPI-OT): Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s President Muhammad Haroon Agar inaugurated 2nd Chem and Dye Tech Expo 2013 in the Expo Centre Karachi. Speaking on the occasion he asserted upon the need to regular organizing of sector specific exhibitions to create bonding between the international business community and their Pakistani counterparts.
He stated that exhibition act as vital platform to promote and develop business-to-business linkages. He welcomed the international exhibitors of the Chem and Dye Tech Exhibition and appreciated such events taking place in Pakistan which will facilitate the international players in establishing new ventures and alliances in Pakistan equally beneficial for them and their Pakistan counterparts.
Haroon Agar stated that the participation of local exhibitors shows the massive interest in this sector which also highlights the potential of our chemical and dyes industry. The International Exhibitors are participating from China, Taiwan, India and Germany. He hoped this event would successfully attract the attention of Businesspersons for business integration particularly from leather, textiles, chemicals, paints other industrial concerns.
He appreciated the participation of more than 100 local foreign exhibitors. He articulated that Chem and Dye Tech Expo like other exhibition will facilitate the government’s efforts of attracting foreign and local investments in the country.
He also appreciated the efforts of the Chairman of Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association Mr Salim Valimohammad and his team for organizing the “Chem and Dye Tech Expo 2013” and all their supporters and wish them successful event.
He hoped the exhibition will provide a vibrant platform and opportunity for the exhibitors to showcase their wide variety of products and emerging technologies in front of the trade buyers.
