Peshawar, December 04, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Planning Commission, Govt of Pakistan in a CDWP meeting approved the construction of Audit Complex-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Peshawarthat will cost Rs. 105.96 million. Various offices of the Department of the Auditor General of Pakistan perform their duties in rented buildings, which necessitated construction of government own office accommodation at Peshawar.
The office building concerned will accommodate various audit offices in a properly designed office building without worrying about their frequent shifting private buildings. This will result in better working condition and improve efficiency and coordination among government offices.
Further the rent charge will be saved and the staff would be facilitated. Furthermore, it will facilitate the auditorial activities and communication process between audit department with other relevant government departments, which will facilitate auditorial activities, and communication process between audit department with other relevant government departments, which will facilitate auditorial function and accountability process.
It is expected that the construction of the said complex will encourage the staff of audit department to perform their auditorial duties diligently.
