OIC Secretary General receives Somali State Minister for Foreign Affairs

Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef AlOthaimeen met here on Thursday with Somali State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abdulkadir AhmedKheir Abdi.

During the meeting at the OIC headquarters, the two parties explored ways to foster bonds between the Organization and the Federal Republic of Somalia.

The Secretary General affirmed the OIC’s support for efforts by the government and people of Somalia to help build a better future for their country. He also reiterated that the Organization’s commitment will continue to be visible in its support for the efforts of the Somali government to restore security and stability in the Horn of Africa country.
