Pakistan, Egypt pledge to increase their bilateral trade

Pakistan and Egypt have pledged to increase their bilateral trade.

An understanding to this effect came during a meeting between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry in Islamabad on Sunday.

During the meeting, important regional and global issues, as well as bilateral relations and promotion of bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi thanked his Egyptian counterpart for visiting Pakistan to attend 48th OIC Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting.

He said over the past three years, the increase in high-level contacts between the leadership of Pakistan and Egypt has further strengthened the bilateral relationship.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister thanked Shah Mahmood Qureshi for his warm welcome and hospitality.
