Pakistan Telecommunication Company introducing new payment outlets

Islamabad: To facilitate its customers Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has further expanded the network of its bill collection points. To this end PTCL has collaborated with Ufone to ensure that all PTCL customers can now also avail the facility to pay their PTCL bills at any Ufone outlets including Ufone franchise, UShop and Service Centres.

Hamid Farooq, SEVP – Business Development PTCL said that this arrangement has been done to further facilitate all PTCL customers of Fixed line, Broadband and EVO for payment of their monthly bills. PTCL is continuously looking at ways to enhance customer facilitation in its endeavour to provide better customer service.

Ufone outlets are operating in all major cities of Pakistan. At this point of time, number of Ufone outlets that are collecting PTCL bills includes 402 UShops, 322 franchise and 22 Ufone service centres.

Senior Advisory Team Member PTCL – Mohamed Essa Al-Taheri stated that PTCL customers can simply pay without the need to show the actual bill. He further stated that the PTCL customers can also make advance or partial payment at Ufone outlets. All they need to do is provide their EVO or landline number, make the required payment and avail the advantage of immediate updating of their bill status and connection, in case it was disconnected.

In return they will be given system-generated receipts. In case of UShops, customer will receive SMS confirmation for their bill payment. He also added that to further facilitate state of the art Cash Collection KIOSKS have been introduced where PTCL bills can be paid through automated system with new services being added in the future.
