Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves position on August 07, 2014

Karachi, August 07, 2014 (PPI-OT): The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$14,306.9 million on 01August2014.The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: –

i)   Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$  9,277.0 million

ii)  Net foreign reserves held by banks                 : US$  5,029.9 million

iii) Total liquid foreign reserves                      : US$ 14,306.9 million

As of 01August2014, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves were US$9,277 million and there was no significant change over the previous week.
