Peace in South Asia linked to Kashmir solution: JKPM

Srinagar, September 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), has said that durable peace in the South Asian region is linked to the resolution of Kashmir dispute.

The JKPM spokesman, Umer Arshad Inqalabi, in a statement issued in Rajouri said that the unprecedented sacrifices of the people of Kashmir for securing their right to self-determination would not be allowed go waste.

He also strongly denounced the killing of four youth in Shopian by the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. He demanded probe into the incident by an impartial international organisation and appealed the world community to take practical measures for resolving the Kashmir dispute.

The JKPM spokesman said that the real purpose of the Zubin Mehta musical concert was to divert world attention from the Kashmir dispute. He reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to take the liberation movement to its logical end.
