Petition filed by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited for determination of its estimated revenue requirement/prescribed prices for Financial Year 2014-15

Islamabad, April 23, 2014 (PPI-OT): Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (the Petitioner) filed a petition before the Authority under Section 8 (1) of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority Ordinance, 2002,read with Rule 4 (2)of the Natural Gas Tariff Rules, 2002, on December 13, 2013,for determination of its estimated revenue requirements / prescribed prices for FY 2014-15. The Petitioner has worked out an increase of Rs. 179.55 per MMBTU in its average prescribed price w.e.f. 1st July, 2014.

OGRA has decided to hold public hearings in the above case according to date, time and venue mentioned below:-

a) Public Hearing at Peshawar

Date: May 08, 2014, Thursday

Time: 10:30 a.m.

Venue: Pearl Continental Hotel, Peshawar

-AND-

b) Public Hearing at Lahore

Date: May 12, 2014, Monday

Time: 10:30 a.m.

Venue: Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore

OGRA has already invited all consumers, interveners, general public and interested/affected persons and parties vide Public Notice published in the Newspapers on March 04, 2014 to furnish their comments on the petition of the petitioner within 15 days of the publication of the said notice. They are given again an opportunity to furnish their comments within 14 days of the publication of this Notice.

All parties to the proceedings, stakeholders, general public and interested / affected persons are hereby informed of the above proceedings.
