PM urges precautionary measures to prevent waterborne diseases spread in flood-hit areas

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to make all out efforts to clear the national high ways and rail tracks from flood water.

He was chairing a high level meeting in Islamabad to review the rescue, relief and rehabilitation activities in flood-hit areas.

The Prime Minister stressed the need to take precautionary measures to prevent waterborne and other diseases in the flood-hit areas.

He lauded the efforts of civil and military administration by playing their pivotal role in rescue, relief and rehabilitation activities.
