Larkana, May 31, 2012 (PPI-OT): Commissioner larkana Division Dr. Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo has emphasized upon the Engineers of Provincial Building Department Larkana to realize their responsibilities, complete the under construction work of Neuroscience Block CMC Hospital Larkana, under construction dental Department Building Work, Under construction OT Complex Building of CMC Teaching Hospital Larkana and construction of Skin Disease complex Building in time and ensure the Quality of the Work, any kind of slackness in this regard will not be tolerated at any cost.
This he said while visiting the under construction ongoing Development schemes being carried out during the Annual Development Program 2011-12.
Earlier MS CMC Hospital Larkana Dr. Ishfaq Hussain Memon briefed the Commissioner in his office regarding the requirement of the Hospital, included there is urgent need of electric transformer to run the Hospital in a smooth manner, he also said that there is a need of 12 Air Conditioners at Cardiology Department, so that the old Air conditioners may be changed in the interest of heart Patients.
He also briefed that there is no shortage of medicines and Equipments in the Hospital but there is urgent need of renovation of different old constructed ward of different sections in the Hospital.
During the briefing the XEN Provincial Building Department Mr. Moula Bux Shaihkh informed the Commissioner that an amount or Rs. 432.237 Million will be required for the rehabilitation and renovation of different sections. / ward on short term basis, the PC I in this regard was prepared and is to be sent through your good self to the Higher Authorities for approval.
He also informed that with a cost of Rs. 33.540 Million the work of OT Complex at teaching hospital is in progress to be completed by June 2013. besides he also informed that with a cost of Rs. 44.426 Million the word of Neuroscience was started and to be completed in the next financial year. He also informed that the renovation work at Shaikh Zayyed Women Hospital was carried out with a cost or Rs. 109. 480 Million.
He also said that with the cost of Rs. 3.572 Million the construction work of Skin Disease Complex is in progress at CMC Hospital, the word is in full swing and to be completed in due course of time and other development schemes are in hand which is also be completed in stipulated period.
The Commissioner along with MS CMC Hospital larkana Dr. Ishfaq Hussain memon, XEN Provincial Buildings and other concerned officers visited the ongoing development schemes of CMC Hospital larkana and the renovation work of different section of Shaikh Zayyed Women Hospital Larkana and he also said that after 15 days he will again visit the progress of Development Schemes, so that those may be completed in time without any delay.
