Election Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pir Maqbool Ahmad says preparations are underway for holding elections on sixteen seats of provincial assembly in tribal districts.
Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar on Wednesday, he said about nineteen hundred polling stations will be set up where more than two point eight million voters will cast vote.
Pir Maqbool Ahmad said local government elections will also be held in merged tribal districts by the end of this year.
