Islamabad, July 31, 2013 (PPI-OT): President Asif Ali Zardari, on the advice of the Prime Minister has appointed Mr. Mohammad Sarwar as Governor of Punjab Province and has signed today the commission of appointment in respect of Mr. Mohammad Sarwar as Governor Punjab.
Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that in terms of article 101(1) of the constitution, Governor of a province shall be appointed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister.
