Islamabad, June 11, 2013 (PPI-OT): President Asif Ali Zardari today, on the advice of the Prime Minister has appointed Mr. Muhammad Khan Achakzai as Governor, Province of Balochistan.
Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that in terms of article 101(1) of the constitution, Governor of a province shall be appointed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister and shall hold office during the pleasure of the President as provided in article 101(3) o f the constitution.
