President calls for report from Sindh Government against land grabbers, increasing corruption in Karachi

Islamabad, February 27, 2014 (PPI-OT): The President Mamnoon Hussain, on the petition of human and civil rights organisation ‘Ansar Burney Trust International’ has called for an immediate report from Sindh Government against Land Grabbers and increasing Corruption in Karachi

Former Federal Minister for human rights, Ansar Burney, Advocate in his petition to President Mamnoon Hussain, urged for stern action against Land Grabbers, Corrupt Mafia, illegally raised constructions and illegal and unlawful possession and conversion of “amenity plots” in the city of Karachi.

Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust International, Ansar Burney informed the President that entire city of Karachi has become a City of corruption and city of land grabbers under the patronage of Government officials and Administration where only bribe and illegal money has become a constitution and law.

In this regard Ansar Burney recently also met President Mamnoon Hussain and urged for an action against corruption and Land Mafia. President Mamnoon Hussain on the request of Ansar Burney has now called for an immediate report from the Chief Secretary of Sindh Government. Ansar Burney in his petition informed the President that it’s a part of his Anti-Corruption campaign that he announced earlier.
