President Zardari strongly condemns the murder of Bureau Chief of the Asia Times Online

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the murder of Syed Salim Shahzad, Bureau Chief of the Asia Times Online, and has order an inquiry into this unfortunate incident.

Terming the brutal act of his murder as a great loss, the President said that the culprits would be brought to justice.

The President also appreciated services of late Syed Salim Shahzad in journalism and has condoled with the bereaved family praying to the Almighty that may his soul rest in eternal peace and to give courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
