Prime minister directs Qazi Mustafa Kamal to continue working as Managing Director Pakistan Television Corporation till further orders

Islamabad, June 01, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Justice ® Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has suspended the notification of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting dated May 31st 2013 withdrawing the appointment of Mr. Qazi Mustafa Kamal as acting Managing Director PTV.

The order has been issued in pursuance of Supreme Court Orders dated 22nd May, 2013, directing the caretaker government not to order any postings/ transfers involving policy or senior management positions.

The Prime Minister has directed that the matter of the acting MD PTV be placed before the next government for consideration and decision.

The Prime Minister has further directed Mr. Qazi to continue working as acting MD PTV till further orders.
