Prime Minister Gilani condemns the blast in vicinity of Jalsa of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) leader, Mr. Amir Muqam

Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the blast in Battagram in the vicinity of the jalsa of PML (Q) leader, Mr. Amir Muqam which was going to be held in a short while, resulting in the shahadat of innocent people and injuries to many.

The Prime Minister in his message said that such cowardly acts could not deter the government’s strong determination to wipe out the terrorist from the country. He said that attacks upon the political leadership of the country clearly shows the intention of the terrorists that they have no regard for anybody and that they are following their own nefarious agenda. He appealed to the masses to get united as these elements are on run and they are making their last ditch efforts by targeting soft targets.

The Prime Minister condoled the death of the people in the incident and in his message to Mr. Amir Muqam and the families of the victims prayed to Almighty Allah to shower countless blessing upon the departed souls. He further prayed to grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss with equanimity.

The Prime Minister directed the local authorities to strengthen the vigilance and intelligence gathering to foil the militant’s evil designs. He further directed the concerned authorities to provide best medical care to the injured.
