Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif felicitates Prime Minister of Australia on National Day

Islamabad, January 25, 2014 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has felicitated the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia Mr. Tony Abbott MP on the occasion of their National Day being celebrated on January 26, 2014.

In his message of greetings to the Prime Minister, he expressed that “On behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan as well as on my own behalf, I am pleased to convey to Your Excellency and the Government and people of Australia, our most sincere heartfelt greetings on the auspicious occasion of the National Day of Australia.

The excellent relations between Pakistan and Australia are underpinned by shared objectives, mutual interests and commonality of vision for future. Both our countries have similarity of perceptions and understanding on most of the regional and international issues. I look forward to build upon and further strengthen these bilateral ties through enhanced bilateral political, corporate, commercial and cultural exchanges at all levels.
