Islamabad, February 03, 2014 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has felicitated the President, Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa and Prime Minister, Mr. Disanayaka Mudiyanselage Jayaratne of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on the occasion of their National Day being celebrated on 04 February, 2014.
In his message of greetings Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said: “It is with immense pleasure that I convey to Your Excellencies my sincere felicitations on the auspicious National Day of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
I am confident that the close and friendly relations happily existing between our two countries would continue to grow in the coming days, as we jointly strive to strengthen economic and commercial ties between our countries. I also earnestly desire that we further strengthen our ongoing cooperation to promote peace and stability in our region and beyond.
I also take this opportunity to pray for Your Excellencies’ personal health and well being; and progress and prosperity of your country”.
