Ankara, September 17, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif laid floral wreath on the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kamal Ataturk, today. In his remarks on the occasion, the Prime Minister said, “It is a great honour for me to pay homage to Mustafa Kamal Ataturk –the father of modern Turkey.
Ataturk’s visionary statesmanship united the Turkish nation and chartered the course of modernity and progress”. The Prime Minister said Ataturk is revered in Pakistan as a truly great visionary leader.
“The people of Pakistan have a special affinity for our Turkish brothers and we desire to strengthen our strategic partnership with Turkey. I have no doubt that together we can achieve greater prosperity to realize our common destinies”, the Prime Minister added.
