Prime Minister thanks people for coming out in huge numbers for voting

Islamabad, May 11, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Justice ® Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has thanked the people of Pakistan for coming out in huge numbers and exercise their right to vote thus putting at rest those critics who were skeptic about the general elections.

The Prime Minister also congratulated all the political parties and candidates for participating in the elections so that the people can be given a choice to express their opinion.

The Prime Minister has appreciated the efforts made by Elections Commission of Pakistan, law enforcement agencies, federal and provincial authorities, media and civil society for their role and cooperation with the caretaker government for achieving its objective of holding general elections in a free, fair and orderly manner.

The Prime Minister expressed the confidence that the next phase of counting of votes will also be completed smoothly.

Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso reiterated the resolve of the caretaker government that it will hand over power to the representatives of the people of Pakistan without any delay as stipulated in the Constitution.
