Prime Minister wishes good health for Nelson Mandela

Islamabad, June 12, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in his message of good wishes on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan for Mr. Nelson Mandela, Former President of the Republic of South Africa, prayed for his early recovery from his illness.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan greatly values the friendly relations with South Africa and highly admires the role played by Mr. Mandela in strengthening the relations between the two countries.

The well being of the great leader and statesman like Mr. Mandela is not only a blessing for South African people but is also a source of inspiration for all the oppressed people of the world, added the Prime Minister.

The Premier further said that the valiant struggle of Mr. Mandela during apartheid era and rise of South African nation as a modern democratic state has been an unprecedented achievement, which will be remembered through out the history.
