Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani condemns Bomb Blast in Multan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the terrorist act of bomb blast in Multan terming it as a cowardly act of sick mindset. The terrorists he said are targeting police stations to create panic and fear among the innocent citizens in cities.

He praised the courage of the police officials who confronted the terrorist to save their colleagues and civilians. Such in human acts he reiterated cannot demoralize the security officials in comforting such in same and anti-state elements, who neither believe in any religion nor any human values.

The Prime Minster said the government and people of Pakistan are determined to fight terrorism and eliminate such elements who want to create instability and spoil the image of the country.

The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to take care of those who are injured and ensure proper medical care. He also directed the security agencies to take appropriate measures in all cities and towns to prevent any possible act of terror through vigilance and intelligence sharing.
