Problems of Industrialists will be solved on priority basis: Dawood

Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razaq Dawood has said all the genuine problems of Industrialists will be solved on priority basis to speed up the process of industrialization in the country.

Talking to the Industrialists and businessmen of Punjab in Lahore, today (Saturday), he said duty on import of raw material for industries is being reduced by six per cent from January 1, 2021 and industrialists should benefit from this reduction.

Abdul Razaq Dawood said business community should also benefit from the government’s temporary economic refinance facility for importing machinery as the scheme worth Rs 100 billion will continue till March 31, 2021.

Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal was also present on the occasion.
