PSL infused new vigour in nation: Prime Minister

Islamabad, March 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said revival of national economy, restoration of peace and promotion of sports are the clear indication of government’s performance. In a statement issued today (Sunday), he congratulated the whole nation on successful conduct of Pakistan Super League. He said PML-N government always steered the country out of darkness and brightened it up. He said the PML-N government has been bringing back all the delight and excitement, associated with the mega cricket event.

Prime Minister said PSL has infused new vim and vigour in the nation and the government would continue its efforts under the same passion and sincerity. He expressed his confidence that hosting of PSL final in Karachi would boost Pakistan’s soft image in the world. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said cooperation of the provincial government, role of Armed Forces and the law enforcement agencies have led to restoration of peace and happiness in Karachi.

Meanwhile, talking to a delegation of business community in Karachi, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi the successful conduct of Final of PSL season three in Karachi is the result of positive policies of the government. He said that the government has established peace in the city and this will be maintained in future. He said that business community plays a vital role in the development process of the country and the stability of economy and establishment of peace in the country is the main objective of the government.

The members of the delegation apprised him about their problems and he assured them to resolve their problems. Meanwhile, President Mamnoon Hussain has congratulated Pakistan Cricket Board, its head Najam Sethi, all PCB staff, players and the nation on successful conduct of final of PSL season three in Karachi. In his felicitation message, the President said that this successful event proved that the Pakistani nation has defeated terrorism and extremism and Pakistan is a peace loving and democratic country. The President said the youth, after bringing back sports in the country, will promote prosperity, peace and harmony in the country and in the region as well.
