Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar met Speaker of British Parliament Lindsay Hoyle in London on Friday and discussed Pak-UK bilateral relations and regional security situation with special focus on Afghanistan.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Afghanistan is passing through different crises in terms of poverty, unemployment and economy.
Expressing concern over prevailing situation in Afghanistan, Chaudhry Sarwar urged the world to fulfil its responsibility of saving the war-torn country from economic catastrophe.
The Punjab Governor said Pakistan has been playing crucial role in promoting peace and stability in entire region especially in Afghanistan.
