Punjab University students participate in Independence Day ceremony at Governor House

Lahore: On the directions of Governor Punjab / Chancellor Punjab University, students of various PU departments have performed in a programme on August 14, organized in connection with 65th Independence Day of the country held at the Governor House. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran was also present on the occasion. It was an honour for Punjab University that only its students had performed in the ceremony.

PU student Syed Fahad Ali Kazmi of Institute of Administrative Sciences performed the duties of stage secretary, Hafiz Hamid Raza of Institute of Chemistry recited Qirat, Syed Ghulam Mohy-ud-Din of Institute of Communication Studies recited Naat, Hasnain Javed and Wahdat Rameez Tariq of Hailey College of Commerce read Arfana Kalam, Hasnain Javed of Hailey College of Commerce sang Milli Naghma, Toheed of College of Art and Design, Hasnain Javed of Hailey College of Commerce and Syed Asim and Wahdat Rameez Tariq of Institute of Communication Studies sang Milli Naghma (group performance) and Hamza Tarar of Institute of Business Administration participated in Urdu Speech.
