Qaim Ali Shah grieved over deaths in Pano Aqil traffic accident, directs for free treatment of injured and seeks inquiry report

Karachi, April 20, 2014 (PPI-OT): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has expressed his profound grief over the loss of lives in dreadful and fatal traffic accident on national high way near Pano Aqil early in the morning on Sunday. He expressed his condolences and sympathies with bereaved families of the victims of this heartbreaking accident.

He directed Commissioner Sukkur and provincial health authorities to make prompt measures to provide best possible treatment to the injured people through declaring emergency in nearby hospitals. He directed health officers to provide free treatment to the injured passengers and said that that all the expenses incurred on treatment would be borne by Sindh Government.

He also directed commissioner Sukkur for making arrangements to send off the bodies of the victims of this unfortunate incident to their native areas. Sindh Chief Minister has also sought a comprehensive and independent inquiry report covering all aspects of the incident from the Commissioner and DIG Sukkur without any delay.
