Jammu, January 25, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Ummat-e-Islami Qazi Ahmed Yasir visited Nyayina Sangam to pay homage to Shariq Ahmed Butt alias Zubair and Pervez Ahmed Guroo who were killed by Indian forces on the 18th of January 2016 at Sangam. Qazi Yasir also visited the grave of the martyred youth and offered Fateh Khwani there. Qazi Yasir while paying glowing tributes to tens of thousands of martyrs said “The martyrs are our pride and we should not let down their sacrifices by being a party to any of the institutions of the oppressor”.
H said that India had firmed its roots deep into our society and its institutes should in disguised form wanted to further strengthen the occupation. “It is a duty for all of us to fight against these institutes, be it in the form of tournaments, tours, road building, gifts or anything, we all should create awareness against these instruments at least verbally to people” he said.
He said that India had always muzzled the voices of Kashmiris with undemocratic means. He said that the peaceful resolve of the people as crushed equally and pro-resistance voices were being crushed and a hoax picture was being presented to befool the outside world simultaneously. Extending full support to the shutdown call on 26th January, said that India had no moral right to celebrate Republic Day in the territory as it held Kashmir through extreme military might against the will of its people.
