Islamabad, October 26, 2012 (PPI-OT): Radio Pakistan is broadcasting special programmes to mark the Black Day‚ being observed by Kashmiris today (Saturday)‚ against the landing of Indian troops on their soil on this day in 1947.
Messages of Presidents and Prime Ministers of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be broadcast in morning transmission.
Kashmiri songs‚ slogans and interviews of All Parties Hurriyat Conference will be the hall mark of special programmes.
Excerpts from national and local dailies regarding ceremonies in connection with Black Day will be presented on national hook-up.
A discussion programme titled “Liberation Movement of Kashmir and World View” will be aired on national hook-up at 01:20 p.m.
A special programme “The Day that was Black” is being broadcast on national hook-up at 04.05 p.m.
Radio reports about various ceremonies of Black Day held throughout the country‚ will be aired locally.
All the three stations of Azad Kashmir will air special Black Day programmes throughout the day.
