Removal of hoardings by Karachi Metropolitan Corporation

Karachi, September 17, 2015 (PPI-OT):In compliance of the orders passed by the Supreme Court, the Local Taxes Department of KMC removed many signage including hoardings, pylon and Hi Mark on the night of 9th to 16th September during its action in different areas of the city.

The local taxes staff removed a total of 77 hoardings of different sizes including 41 hoardings at Sharah-e-Quaideen in Jamshed Zone and Shaheed-e-Millat Road, University Road, Abul Hassan Ispahani Road, Rashid Minhas Road in Gulshan Zone. The department also removed 24 hoardings in N. Nazimabad Zone and 12 hoardings in Liaquatabad and Gulberg Zone during its campaign. A pylone in Gulshan Zone and a Hi-Mark in North Nazimabad Zone was also removed.
