Rich tributes paid to martyred youth

Srinagar, May 29, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid rich tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Kokernag area of Islamabad district. Hurriyat leader, Mushtaq-ul-Islam in a statement issued in Srinagar said Indian authorities are denying the political space to the Kashmiri youth and trampling basic rights in the territory. He also condemned the forces’ unjustified action against civilians in Sopore and Kulgam.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt, in a statement while paying tributes to the martyred youth said that the sacrifices of these martyrs would not be allowed to go waste. He also remembered Aasiya and Neelofar on their martyrdom anniversary.

Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem-e-Azad in a statement issued in Srinagar while paying tributes to the martyrs said that as a result of sacrifices of the Kashmiri youth the freedom struggle had entered a crucial phase and it had become difficult for India to suppress it with military might. Indian troops martyred two youth including an engineering student during a cordon and search operation in Kokernag area of Islamabad district, yesterday.
