Senate Informed of Transparent Quota System for Foreign Scholarships

Islamabad: The Senate was informed today that there is a transparent quota system for foreign scholarships for students from all provinces. Responding to a question during the Question Hour, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhary stated that only a few students are unable to avail scholarships, primarily due to technical reasons such as visa rejection. He emphasized that there is no discrimination against students in any way.

According to Radio Pakistan, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry assured the House that the government would ensure the implementation of the allocated quota for students from every province in every medical college. Addressing another question regarding the vacant position of Rector at the International Islamic University, the Minister mentioned that a summary regarding the appointment has been sent to the Prime Minister and the appointment will be made soon. He clarified that the University continues to function effectively under its President.
