Karachi, August 04, 2014 (PPI-OT): Sindh Minister for Local Government and Information Sharjeel Innam Memon has lamented over the issuance of Arrest warrant of the MD and Chief Engineers of Karachi Water Board by the Sindh High Court.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Sharjeel Innam Memon said that Sindh Government and the Karachi Water Board is taking action against illegal Water Hydrants, while hydrant mafia is busy in taking relief from courts. He said that Sindh High Court has issued warrants on the plea of that water hydrant which was illegal and when it was being demolished, the mineral water was being sold through it.
Provincial Minister said that campaign had been initiated against illegal hydrants to supply drinking water to the citizens at their door step. He said that the Government will move toward the superior court against the decision taken by the High Court.
