Karachi, October 21, 2016 (PPI-OT): Sheikh Khalid Tawab (S.I), Senior Vice President (SVP), Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has expressed his pleasure and congratulated Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan on being declared as the best Finance Minister 2016 in South Asia by Emerging Markets and Ashraf Mehmood Wathra, Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on winning best Governor of Central Bank of South Asia Award 2016 by Euromoney Magazine.

He said that winning of the Awards is an honour for Pakistan and is a befitting recognition of their illustrious toil for reviving its economy and achieving economic stability. It is a testimony of Pakistan’s renewed economic credential for which both Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Ashraf Mehmood Wathra and their teams deserve immense appreciation”, he added.

The FPCCI SVP recalled that major international financial institutions had been, time and again, lending their credence to the economic turnaround achieved by the country under their dynamic leadership and their vibrant economic teams.
