Shopian shuts on 2nd day against killing of youth by troops

Srinagar, February 15, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, life remained crippled in Shopian town for the second consecutive day, today, due to strike against the killing of two youth by Indian troops. Shops and business establishments remained closed while traffic was off the road. Work in government offices and financial institutions was affected due to the strike.

Several people were injured, yesterday, when Indian police resorted to brute force to break up massive demonstrations in the town against the killings.
