Shutdown in Islamabad town against killing of youth

Srinagar, May 29, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Islamabad town, today, against the killing of an engineering student and another youth by Indian troops. The troops martyred the student, Faisal Nazir, along with another youth during a cordon and search operation in Kokernag area of the district, yesterday.

All business establishments remain closed while the public traffic is also off the road in the town, today. Meanwhile, the occupation authorities have suspended the class work in various educational institutes in Islamabad district to prevent students’ protests against the killing of the youth.
