Sincere efforts of PML (N) to overcome energy crises has proved fruitful: Shehbaz Sharif

Lahore, March 26, 2018 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif said that the sincere efforts of the PML-N government to reduce the energy crisis have proved productive and completion of thousands MW power projects has pulled Pakistan out of the darkness by eliminating load shedding forever. By overcoming the energy crisis, Pakistan will be economically strong which will help in eradicating poverty, ignorance andunemployment besides nation will always remember this service and historical act of PML (N).

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of PML-N in London today. While mentioning CPEC which is emblem of eternal friendship of Pakistan and China, CM said that it is a great plan for development and prosperity of Pakistan and this project is truly a game changer which will not only be profitable for Pakistan but the whole region will be its beneficiary.

CPEC has opened the doors of foreign investment in Pakistan and its projects will also assist people from Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir along-with four provinces. He said that CPEC projects will change the destiny of the country and nation as they are moving towards completion rapidly and whole world is surprised over their rapid and transparent completion.

Moreover he added that Chinese investment worth of billions of rupees has created vast employment opportunities for the people of Pakistan. Enormous projects of energy, infrastructure and industrial cooperation are incorporated in CPEC which are moving forward swiftly. Energy projects have been completed in Pakistan under CPEC. Shehbaz Sharif said China has invested $ 36 billion in energy projects which articulates their confidence in the leadership and policies of the Muslim League (N). He hoped that Economic Corridor will start a new era of economic and social development, and Pakistan will become the central hub for commercial and economic activities.

He said that CPEC plan will alter the mode of history and we will not allow any conspiracy to be succeeded against it. He said that the adversaries of CPEC are actually enemies of Pakistan while our friends are very happy with this great project. Due to the solid economic policies of the PML (N), the country is moving on the path of development as our government has cultivated the culture of transparency, merit, standard and timely completion of development projects in the country, he added. CM said that PML (N) has inscribed a new history by ensuring transparency and reliable use of resources also every penny of the savings made in these national resources is being used honestly in welfare program.

Even the international institutes acknowledge the transparency in the development projects of government, he claimed. CM further added that the development strategy of the Government of Muslim League (N) is proving fruitful and completion of projects worth of billions of rupees are giving relief to the people. He said that we are committed to make Punjab an ideal province in term of education and health also PML (N) government holds the honour of allocating record budget in education and health sector. Furthermore he shared that performance of Punjab province in the fields of education, health and other sectors are not only being applauded within country but also by the foreign institutions.
